We Became the "Carbon Neutral" Sponsor of the 9th Turkish Capital Markets Congress!

The 9th Turkish Capital Markets Congress, the most prestigious gathering of the capital markets, was held this year in Istanbul on 4-5 November with the theme of "Interaction". At this huge organization where the future of the financial world was designed, as CGE we were proud to take on the environmental responsibility of the event and to serve as the "Carbon Neutral Sponsor".

The Future of Finance Left a Green Mark

At the congress, which was opened by Minister of Treasury and Finance Mr. Mehmet Şimşek and where the dynamics of the economy and technology were discussed in 31 different sessions, we were on the other side of the coin. While the growth of the financial ecosystem was being discussed, we did our part to alleviate the burden of this growth on nature.

As CGE, throughout the congress;

• We guided the process of calculating and offsetting the carbon footprint that arose during the organization of the event.
• We shared with all participants our vision that capital markets should be sustainable not only economically but also environmentally.
• We supported the "Green Finance" and "Sustainable Transformation" panels with our vision.

From Interaction to Sustainability

The congress, enriched by the technological transformation presentations of Digital Darwinism author Tom Goodwin and the economic stability analyses of industry leaders, was for us not just a sponsorship but a commitment. With this organization, we once again proved that, as much as artificial intelligence and blockchain, carbon neutral goals will also have a place in the future of financial services.

In this ecosystem, which is part of the social responsibility project implemented for Darüşşafaka students, we experience the happiness of contributing to both education and nature.
