The CGE Evaluation Climate Transition Risk Management (CTRM) Rating independently assesses an organization’s climate-related risks, opportunities and preparedness for the transition to a low-carbon economy using an evidence-based approach.
The assessment covers 151 indicators across four core areas:
- Governance and Strategic Integration
- Risk and Opportunity Assessment
- Financial Impact and Investment Planning
- Reporting and Monitoring
Quantitative and qualitative data are analysed using corporate disclosures, supporting documentation, publicly available information, reliable third-party sources and management interviews. Where necessary, the process is supported by on-site assessments to provide a comprehensive view of the organization’s capacity to manage climate transition risks.
The methodology takes into account internationally recognized reporting and assessment frameworks, including IFRS S1 and S2, TSRS, ESRS, GRI, SASB, TCFD and CDP. It is built on the principles of transparency, consistency, independence and data quality.
