The main purpose of the program is to evaluate the sustainability performance of companies’ supply chain management processes and reward successful practices.

Sustainability in Supply Chain Management

To encourage companies to bring their supply chain management processes into the highest level of alignment with sustainability principles and relevant regulations.

Scaling Successful Practices

To enable successful practices to be shared in the business world and provide an opportunity to understand and benchmark best practices.

Certification and Indexing

To ensure that all companies showing high performance in the evaluation results receive a TEDAR & CGE Evaluation Certificate and are indexed on the TEDPORT platform.

Official Evaluation Steps

Evaluation Process

Companies that apply and are selected after their award application is evaluated are assessed according to the following steps:

1. Online Evaluation Process

An evaluation form consisting of 66 questions is sent via the CGE Evaluation platform to the responsible persons reported by the participating companies.

Corporate Governance: Board of Directors’ Sustainability Strategy, Organization and Processes, Technology, Risk Management, Compliance

Social: Human Rights, Employee Rights, Occupational Health and Safety

Environment: Environment and Climate Change

Monitoring and Reporting

2. Document and Explanation Process

It evaluates your governance and sustainability performance from different perspectives and reveals your strong areas and areas open to improvement.

3. Expert Review

The responses provided are evaluated by CGE Evaluation sustainability experts. Additional information and documents may be requested where necessary.

4. One-on-One Meetings

Meetings are held between sustainability and supply chain management teams and senior management.

5. Site Audit

Within the scope of a one-day site audit, practices are observed on site and interviews are conducted with experts.

6. Evaluation and Scoring

An evaluation report is prepared based on the information collected and final scoring is carried out.

7. Award Process

The 3 companies with the highest scores are invited to the award ceremony. Participants who do not make it into the top three are provided with a report containing improvement recommendations and are advised to participate in the next process.

Award Ceremony

An award ceremony is held as part of the Conference to be organized every year in April-May. Awards and certificates are presented within the framework of the award program.

Evaluation Calendar

Application and Evaluation Calendar

  • January-March

    Applications that start in October continue until March 15.

  • March-April

    Applications are evaluated, selected companies are informed about the audit processes, and the evaluation process is initiated.

  • April

    Evaluation processes are completed and the three companies with the highest scores are determined.

  • May

    The awards are presented to the winners at the Conference to be held in May.
